Adina Walters
Gateway Outreach Director
Adina joined the Gateway staff, as the GO Center director, July 2021.
For seven years, Adina had been working at Hope Mission serving women as they recover from drugs and alcohol. For three of those years, she served as a case manager/program facilitator, and the remaining four years, she was the program manager. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Theology and a major in Counselling from Summit Pacific College in 2012. In 2015, she became ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Her call to ministry came at a young age as a word of hope as she would walk through some hard times ahead of her. Now, she uses her testimony as a means to relate to others and encourage others to never give up hope.
Adina is married to Michael. Together they have three children: Katelyn, Lilah and Tobias. Both Mike and Adina are passionate about bringing Christ's truth and freedom particularly to those outside of the traditional church walls. They see the importance of showing individuals Christ's love and the power of His Spirit, while also walking alongside people knowing that life can really throw some hard balls. They love quality time laughing with each other, discussing unconventional topics and having good company.
