Cassie joined the Gateway team as the youth and young adults pastor in August 2020. She was called by the Lord to full-time pastoral leadership at the age of 12, and is deeply passionate about young people encountering Jesus’ love and discovering their identity in Christ. Cassie attended Vanguard College, in Edmonton, where she graduated from the pastoral program with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology. She has also completed a Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) as well as attended Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry alongside her husband Todd.

Todd and Cassie met at a drop-in volleyball league in Edmonton. Todd is also studying at Vanguard to be a Pastor and is passionate about young people experiencing Jesus in everyday life and choosing worship as a lifestyle. Together they enjoy snowboarding, volleyball, hiking, and playing with their golden retriever Maverick.
