November 26 Take Home

Today we continued with our "hearing God" unit! The focus of today's lesson was being a voice of encouragement.

A few weeks ago Allie explained to the kids that God loves them and wants to love others through them (laying the ground work for prophecy). This week, Rachel expanded on that lesson and shared testimonies from her life where God loved her through other people. The kids were challenged to consider, "What would the world look like if followers of Jesus seized every opportunity to be encouraging?"

The kids worked on the attached handout and asked God to show them someone they could love/encourage this week. They then asked God how they could love/encourage that person (through kind words/actions etc).
